Interactivity
Interactivity design is whats called "new media" that represents website, CD-Rom, PDA, and wireless interface design. Interaction design is becoming more popular, now students have their portfolios on a website rather than the traditional way. Although new advanced programs have made it simple for non designers to master this medium, but they cannot be confused with skilled and professional designers. The designer in web design is often both brick layer and architect, leaving the mechanical aspects of webpage construction to programing and production experts. Even though web design is the "new media" design hierarchies are not very different from those in the print environment. Depending on the design department, the design-actions are the same: design director, art director, senior and junior designer.
